Dr. Zheng Shi

Dr. Zheng Shi is a software engineer of Tyco International Ltd, UK.He graduated in Computer Science from  Zheng Zhou University, China, a MSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, China. He then developed a 863 programme in ZTE Ltd(Project name: Automatic Switched Optical Network (ASON)), one of the top Telecom Technology Company. After that he came to UK and got Ph.D in the Department of Computer Science at the University of York. The research interests cover the embedded and real-time system area, including real-time communication network, real-time model abstract and schedulability analysis, network-on-chip and quality of service guarantee.

Mr. Chris Zhang

Chris Zhang is a serial entrepreneur and his current portfolio companies include: non-profit organisation for global Chinese entrepreneurs, academy of entrepreneurship, venture capital fund, IT consulting & outsourcing, management consulting, Internet portal, cloud computing and fresh food vending startup companies. He successfully completed the Executive MBA programme in Imperial College Business School in 2009. He has more than 10 years experience in the IT industry. As an Internet marketing guru, he used to work for a respected ecommerce portal which is the Trainline.com. He started his career as a junior software developer, but he got promoted to senior in a year’s time. At the time he was employed he began to develop a desire towards self employment which has driven him to start his own businesses, he set up his first consulting business in 2006. He has been successful in building a high performance management team of 9 in six month’s time and he has also pursued investors in the likes of Business Angels, Venture Capitalists, Dragon’s Den, etc. During this period he has gathered vast amounts of business acumen. He has also sharpened his skills by keeping himself abreast with the business world.
