Inaugural Forum on Sino-UK International Professional Development organized by Queen’s University Belfast
Working with Sichuan International Studies University, Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Commission, Associaiton of Science and Technology, China Innovation and Development Association,l The Queen’s University Belfast organized the inaugural forum in Sichuan International Studies University, Chongqing.
Prof. Richard Harrison was invited to the first panel, the other three panel members are: Prof. Shirong Li, Deputy Director General of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Commission, Prof. Wang Lunan, Vice President of Sichuan International Studies University, and Mrs Parvin Ali OBE, Board member of East Midland Development Agency. They focused on how the universities and governments should educate the talents from UK and China’s perspective respectively. Prof. Harrison’s topic is on how the university building up the innovative talent pool.
In the second session of the forum, Dr. Yu Xiong of Queen’s University Management School, discussed with another three members about how a society and company to help the professional development.
