China division final of 21st Century China UK Entrepreneurship Competition 2010
On 23rd of June, the China division final was addressed by the vice Chair of the association of Science and Technology, Dr. Lianjun Gan. 8 teams from all over China have joined the final, they came from Beijing, Nanjing, Qingdao, Chongqing etc. Three judges were invited from UK, while the other two are Chinese professors. Finally, Nanjing University’s won the first prize, their project is about a recycling technology, Chongqing’s University got the second place, their project is about a robot to clean the skyscraper’s buildings, and Beijing University of Science and Technology’s social psychology bar won the third prize. 150 people attended this event.
On 24th June, the deputy Chair of Chongqing’s People’s Congress, Mr. Chen Wanzhi, addressed this ceremony, Richard presented the second award to the team, Chongqing University. After that, Richard was presented a certificate of Judge to China Division China UK Entrepreneurship Competition. TV news and most of the important Chinese news papers have reported this event.
